Refund Policy - the basics

Refund & Replacement Policy – SLS Bearings

At SLS Bearings, we aim to provide genuine products and reliable service.
Because we deal in industrial bearings, pillow blocks, and made-to-order/imported items, our refund and replacement terms are specific to this industry.

1. No Refund on Confirmed Orders

Once an order is confirmed and payment is made, refunds are not permitted.
This is because:

  • Products are ordered specifically as per customer requirement

  • Many items are non-returnable to manufacturers

  • Import-on-order items are purchased exclusively for the customer

2. Replacement Only for Manufacturing Defects

If a product has a manufacturing defect, we offer replacement only, subject to:

  • Proof of defect (photos/videos)

  • Inspection of the returned unit

  • Approval from manufacturer/supplier

No cash refunds will be provided.

3. Conditions Where Replacement Is Not Applicable

Replacement will NOT be provided if:

  • Product was damaged after delivery

  • Incorrect installation caused failure

  • Shaft misalignment, improper lubrication, or handling issues

  • Wear & tear from usage

  • Product used in wrong application

  • Product is tampered, modified, or opened

  • Seals/packaging are broken (unless defective on arrival)

4. Wrong Product Delivered (Our Mistake)

If we deliver the wrong item:

  • We will replace it at no additional cost

  • Product must be unused and in original condition

  • Return must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery

5. Import-on-Order Policy

For bearings or units imported on customer request:

  • No refund or cancellation once the order is placed

  • Replacement only for verifiable manufacturing defects

  • Transit time may vary; delays are not eligible for refund

6. How to Request a Replacement

Email or WhatsApp us with:

  • Order number

  • Product photos/videos

  • Description of issue

  • Your contact details

We will review within 2–5 business days.

7. Return Shipping

  • If product is defective → we cover shipping cost

  • If customer returns wrongly ordered items (allowed only in exceptional cases) → customer pays shipping

8. Final Decision

All refund and replacement decisions are made at the discretion of SLS Bearings, based on inspection, documentation, and supplier policies.
